Description

This dish is a creamy, comforting one-pan pasta that brings together cheese-filled tortellini, seared chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and a velvety Parmesan cream sauce. Inspired by the popular “Marry Me” flavor combo, it’s easy enough for a weeknight and impressive enough for a date night.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb cheese tortellini (refrigerated)
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Add to the skillet and cook until golden and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Sauté garlic and sun-dried tomatoes for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Pour in the cream and chicken broth. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle simmer.
  5. Add the tortellini and stir gently. Cover and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Return cooked chicken to the pan and stir to combine.
  7. Add Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes (if using). Let simmer for another 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
