Ingredients

Scale

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

1 ½ teaspoons Cajun seasoning

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon garlic powder

salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

10 ounces linguine pasta

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic minced

1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

¾ cup chicken broth

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup Parmesan cheese grated

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Instructions

1. Pat the chicken breasts dry. Season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest.

3. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.

4. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

5. Stir in Cajun seasoning and red pepper flakes. Add broth and cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes.

6. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

7. Add drained linguine to the sauce. Toss to coat, adding reserved pasta water if needed.

8. Slice rested chicken and place on top of pasta. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve.

Notes

Shred your cheese fresh for a silky, non-grainy sauce.

Use pasta water to adjust the sauce’s texture and help it cling.

Rest the chicken before slicing to keep it juicy.
