2 large chicken breasts

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

4 cloves garlic (for chicken)

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

0.5 teaspoon paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons fresh parsley

0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese

8 oz spaghetti

2 tablespoons butter (for sauce)

3 cloves garlic (for sauce)

1 cup heavy cream

0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for sauce)

0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper

Salt to taste

0.5 cup reserved pasta water

Extra parsley and Parmesan for garnish


Instructions

1. Pat the chicken dry and cut into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika.

2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet. Add chicken and sear until golden brown and fully cooked. Add garlic near the end and cook 30 seconds. Stir in Parmesan and parsley, then set aside.

3. Boil spaghetti in a large pot of salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of the water, then drain.

4. In the same skillet, add butter and garlic. Sauté for 1–2 minutes, then add heavy cream and pepper. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.

5. Add Parmesan cheese to the sauce and stir until melted. Adjust with pasta water for consistency.

6. Toss in the cooked spaghetti until fully coated. Add more Parmesan or salt to taste.

7. Serve spaghetti with the chicken on top. Garnish with extra parsley and cheese.


Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best melt and flavor.

Don’t forget to reserve pasta water to adjust the sauce.
