Ingredients

Scale

For the Casserole:

  • 3 cups cooked, shredded chicken (rotisserie chicken works well)
  • 1 cup smoked turkey, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

For the Crispy Topping:

  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat & Prepare – Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Layer the Base – Spread the shredded chicken evenly in the dish, then layer the chopped smoked turkey over it.
  3. Make the Sauce – In a saucepan, heat the cream cheese, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper over medium heat. Stir until smooth and creamy.
  4. Assemble the Casserole – Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken and turkey. Sprinkle Swiss and mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Add the Topping – In a small bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over the casserole.
  6. Bake – Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden brown. For extra crispiness, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
  7. Serve & Enjoy – Let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
