This Creamsicle Orange Fluff is a light and creamy dessert bursting with citrus flavor. Perfect for potlucks, holidays, or summer gatherings, this no-bake treat combines juicy mandarin oranges, whipped cream, and marshmallows for a refreshing dessert that everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 (3 oz) box orange-flavored gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed
  • 1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese (optional, for creaminess)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve the orange gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved, then add 1 cup of cold water and mix well.
  2. Let the gelatin cool slightly for about 10-15 minutes.
  3. Gently fold in the whipped topping until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the drained mandarin oranges and mini marshmallows, folding them gently to incorporate. If using, mix in the cottage cheese at this stage.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl or dish and cover with plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours, or until set.
  6. Serve cold and enjoy this light, fluffy dessert!

Notes

  • For added texture, sprinkle shredded coconut or chopped nuts on top before serving.
  • To make the dessert more citrusy, add 1 teaspoon of orange zest.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
