- Powdered sugar for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Blind bake the pie crust for 12–15 minutes or until golden. Let it cool completely.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.
- If using cornstarch, dissolve it in a tablespoon of water and mix into the cream cheese mixture for added firmness.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly into the cooled crust.
- Arrange the peach slices over the top of the cream layer in a decorative pattern.
- Cover and chill the pie in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- Before serving, dust lightly with powdered sugar if desired.
