  • lbs chicken breast, cut into tenders
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1½ cups seasoned breadcrumbs (or panko)
  • ½ cup finely grated cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning mix
  • Vegetable or canola oil for frying
  • Optional: chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut and pat dry chicken tenders. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.
  2. Set up three bowls: flour in one, beaten eggs and milk in the second, and breadcrumbs mixed with cheddar and ranch seasoning in the third.
  3. Dredge each chicken tender in flour, then egg wash, and finally breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a heavy skillet to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry chicken tenders in batches for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
  6. Drain on a wire rack and garnish with parsley if desired.
