Ingredients

Scale

4 cups Rice Krispies cereal

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cups mini marshmallows

1/2 teaspoon cotton candy extract

Pink gel food coloring (optional)

1 cup pink candy melts

12 wooden skewers or lollipop sticks

Non-stick spray or butter

Parchment or wax paper

Instructions

1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted.

2. Stir in cotton candy extract and a few drops of pink gel food coloring until evenly mixed.

3. In a large bowl, pour marshmallow mix over Rice Krispies and fold with a spatula until fully coated.

4. Let mixture cool slightly. Grease hands, then form small portions onto skewers into twist shapes.

5. Place on wax/parchment paper and let set for 20–30 minutes.

6. Melt pink candy melts in microwave-safe bowl per package instructions.

7. Dip each twist into candy coating, allow excess to drip, then place back on paper to set.

8. Serve once coating is firm or store in airtight container for up to 5 days.

Notes

Grease your hands and utensils to prevent sticking and make shaping the twists much easier.

Use gel food coloring for vivid color without altering the mixture’s texture.

You can swap cotton candy extract with bubblegum or strawberry for a different flavor profile.
