1 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups whipped topping

1 1/2 cups holiday sugar cookies or shortbread cookies, crushed

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 1/2 cups whipped topping

1/2 cup red and green M&M’s

Red sugar sprinkles or nonpareils (optional)


Instructions

1. Crush chocolate cookies and mix with melted butter to form a wet sand texture. Press into a 9×13-inch dish. Chill.

2. Beat softened cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over crust.

3. Mix crushed sugar cookies with brown sugar and melted butter. Sprinkle evenly over cheesecake layer and press gently.

4. Add a layer of whipped topping. Decorate with M&M’s and sprinkles.

5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Slice and serve chilled.
