- 1 ½ cups shredded provolone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup beef broth
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Cook the Tortellini: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the tortellini according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper, cooking until soft and slightly caramelized. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute.
- Cook the Beef: Add the ground beef or thinly sliced steak to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess grease if needed.
- Make the Provolone Sauce: Reduce heat to low. Pour in the beef broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Slowly add the shredded provolone cheese, stirring continuously until melted and smooth.
