Description

Craving something rich, cheesy, and totally unforgettable? This Cheesesteak Stuffed Garlic Bread Loaf is the ultimate comfort food — think savory ground beef, melty provolone, and buttery garlic bread all baked into one glorious, crowd-pleasing loaf. Whether you’re hunting for quick dinner ideas, a game day favorite, or simply easy recipes for parties, this stuffed garlic bread hits the mark every time. It’s also perfect for meal prep, weeknight dinners, or even a bold twist on your next brunch spread.

Ingredients

Scale

1 loaf Italian or French bread

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 bell pepper, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons butter, softened

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

6 slices provolone cheese

Instructions

1. In a small bowl, mix the softened butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning until combined. Set aside.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned.

3. Drain excess fat. Add chopped onion and bell pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.

4. Stir in garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for a few minutes.

5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

6. Slice the bread loaf in half lengthwise. Hollow out some of the soft center to make room for filling.

7. Brush the insides and edges of the loaf with garlic butter mixture.

8. Spoon the beef mixture into the bread evenly.

9. Top with slices of provolone cheese, pressing down lightly.

10. Bake for 10–15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are golden.

11. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and let rest for a few minutes.

12. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use a wide loaf of bread with a sturdy crust to hold the filling.

Let the loaf rest for a few minutes after baking to avoid a cheesy mess when slicing.

You can make the filling and garlic butter ahead of time for quicker assembly.
