Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary

1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 teaspoon balsamic vinegar (optional)

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

1. Choose a shallow bowl or small plate for serving.

2. Pour the olive oil into the dish.

3. Add minced garlic, dried herbs, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

4. Stir the mixture gently.

5. Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

6. Add balsamic vinegar or Parmesan cheese if using, and stir again.

7. Serve immediately with fresh, crusty bread.

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3–4 days.

Bring to room temperature before serving again, and stir well.
