  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat. Drain fat.
  4. Add garlic to beef and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let simmer 5–7 minutes.
  6. In a mixing bowl, combine hot spaghetti with softened cream cheese until evenly coated.
  7. Spread a small amount of meat sauce in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  8. Layer spaghetti mixture on top of sauce.
  9. Pour remaining meat sauce over spaghetti.
  10. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  11. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  12. Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  13. Let rest 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.
