Description

This Beef and Bowtie Pasta with Alfredo Sauce is a creamy, comforting dish made with tender ground beef, farfalle pasta, and a rich, velvety Alfredo sauce. Perfect for a quick and satisfying weeknight dinner, this dish is easy to prepare and packed with flavor. With just a handful of ingredients, you can create a hearty and delicious meal that the whole family will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Aromatics – In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil or butter. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until soft and fragrant.
  3. Brown the Beef – Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease if needed. Season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Add the Alfredo Sauce – Pour the Alfredo sauce into the skillet with the cooked beef. Stir well to combine and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to blend flavors.
  5. Combine with Pasta – Add the cooked bowtie pasta to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of pasta water or milk to loosen it.
  6. Finish and Serve – Remove from heat, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
