Description

A rich and comforting pasta bake made with spaghetti, savory meat sauce, and a creamy layer of cream cheese, topped with melty mozzarella and baked to perfection.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz spaghetti
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 24 oz pasta sauce
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook onion in oil until soft, then add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  4. Pour in pasta sauce and simmer for 5-7 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, mix cooked spaghetti with softened cream cheese until well coated.
  6. In a baking dish, spread a small amount of meat sauce on the bottom.
  7. Layer cream cheese spaghetti over sauce, then top with remaining meat sauce.
  8. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella over the top.
  9. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
