  • 4 cups frozen shredded hash browns, thawed and drained
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: chopped green onions for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Spread hash browns evenly in the bottom of the dish and press down gently.
  3. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the hash browns.
