Ingredients

Scale

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cup chopped roasted almonds

1 1/4 cups sweetened shredded coconut

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

2. In a large bowl, cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix well.

4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix it into the wet ingredients until just combined.

5. Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.

6. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the dough layer.

7. Add chopped roasted almonds over the chocolate chips.

8. Sprinkle shredded coconut over the top and press down lightly.

9. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until edges are golden and center is just set.

10. Cool completely in the pan before lifting and slicing into bars.

Notes

Toast the almonds for deeper flavor before adding.

Don’t overbake—watch for golden edges and a soft center.

Cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.
