For the Mushrooms

  • 12 large baby bella (cremini) or white button mushrooms, stems removed

For the Filling

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt

For Topping (Optional)

  • ¼ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
  • A pinch of paprika or red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Mushrooms – Wipe mushrooms with a damp paper towel to remove dirt. Gently twist and remove stems.
  2. Make the Filling – In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan, shredded cheddar, minced garlic, parsley, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Stuff the Mushrooms – Fill each mushroom cap with the prepared mixture, making sure not to overfill.
  4. Add the Topping – Sprinkle additional shredded cheese on top of each stuffed mushroom. Add paprika or red pepper flakes if desired.
  5. Air Fry the Mushrooms – Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Serve – Remove carefully with tongs and let cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
