For the Mushrooms
- 12 large baby bella (cremini) or white button mushrooms, stems removed
For the Filling
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
For Topping (Optional)
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella cheese
- A pinch of paprika or red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Prepare the Mushrooms – Wipe mushrooms with a damp paper towel to remove dirt. Gently twist and remove stems.
- Make the Filling – In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, Parmesan, shredded cheddar, minced garlic, parsley, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Stuff the Mushrooms – Fill each mushroom cap with the prepared mixture, making sure not to overfill.
- Add the Topping – Sprinkle additional shredded cheese on top of each stuffed mushroom. Add paprika or red pepper flakes if desired.
- Air Fry the Mushrooms – Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Arrange mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket and cook for 8-10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve – Remove carefully with tongs and let cool for a minute. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
