Description

Golden, crispy, and healthier than their deep-fried counterparts, these Air Fryer French Fries make the perfect side dish or snack.


Ingredients

  • 3 large russet potatoes
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes if desired. Cut into uniform strips about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and thoroughly dry the potatoes using a clean towel or paper towels.
  4. Toss with olive oil, salt, and optional seasonings like garlic powder or paprika.
  5. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  7. Cook for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  8. Remove when golden and crispy. Garnish with fresh parsley if using. Serve hot.
