- 3 large russet potatoes
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes if desired. Cut into uniform strips about 1/4 inch thick.
- Soak the sliced potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
- Drain and thoroughly dry the potatoes using a clean towel or paper towels.
- Toss with olive oil, salt, and optional seasonings like garlic powder or paprika.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Remove when golden and crispy. Garnish with fresh parsley if using. Serve hot.
