Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cod fillets (about 46 oz each)
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3 minutes.
  2. Pat dry the cod fillets thoroughly with paper towels.
  3. Prepare breading station: Beat the egg in one bowl. In another, mix panko, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Coat the cod: Dip each fillet in the egg, then dredge in the breadcrumb mix. Press gently to coat well.
  5. Spray the air fryer basket lightly with olive oil.
  6. Arrange fillets in a single layer in the basket. Spray tops with olive oil.
  7. Cook for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and the fish flakes easily.
  8. Serve hot with chopped parsley and fresh lemon wedges.
